NAT Jarvis is looking forward to renewing some old acquaintances, on and off the pitch, after signing for Tivvy.
The experienced central striker, who has joined Tiverton from Newport City, is no stranger to the Yellows' dressing-room, including manager Rob Dray. He played under Rob for Taunton Town in National League South for two campaigns, including last season's slog against administration.
Nat said: "I really enjoyed working with Rob, even in the second season at Taunton, given the circumstances. Therefore, it was a no-brainer when I got the call to come here; it's always a pleasure working with him!"
Rob sees Nat as being the new focal point of the Tivvy attack, with a wide-ranging brief that incudes bringing his fellow forwards more into play, a role he has fulfilled with the prolific Joe Parker at Gloucester City in the past.
"I'll be a voice from high up the pitch and offer a physical presence up top," said Nat. "I'll work alongside Joe, who I've played with previously, giving him and the team a platform to work off higher up the pitch. Hopefully, I'll grab a couple of goals and assists on the way."
It is not just personnel that Nat is familiar with - he also has more than a working knowledge of the Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South.
He said: "Having been promoted out of the league many years ago with Hungerford, I know what it takes to be successful at this level. I'll do all I can to help pass on my experience of the league to the team."
