Gosport Match OFF

THE continuing wet weather has forced a second successive match postponement for the Yellows.

Saturday's Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South game against Gosport Borough has been called off following a pitch inspection at the Ian Moorcroft Stadium on Friday evening.

As with the previous Tuesday's home match with Dorchester, the Ladysmead pitch was ruled unplayable because of the battering that it has taken from the elements - despite the very best efforts of our volunteer groundstaff.

Attention now turns to attempting to prepare the playing surface for Tuesday night's already re-arranged match with Winchester City, kick-off 7.45pm.
