TIVERTON Town are inviting supporters to enjoy an active role in the running of the club.
The Yellows’ Executive Committee are pledging to establish a Club Committee, comprising fans of the Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South side, with the two committees then operating in tandem.
Full details of the exciting proposed development in the club’s future strategy will be unveiled at a meeting at the Ian Moorcroft Stadium on Wednesday, December 6, starting at 7pm.
A spokesperson for the Executive Committee said: “Tiverton Town is proud to be part of a thriving community, and recognises its important role within that community.
“It is often said that a football club belongs to its supporters and we believe that to the extent that we are inviting fans to play this active role in the Yellows’ progress.
“We not only want to hear what they have to say, but to enable them to carry out whatever we jointly decide to be official club policy regarding such areas as the promotion of the club and its facilities; fund-raising options; special projects; and more.
“We will begin this process at the meeting on December 6 and look forward to seeing supporters then.”
