TIVERTON Town manager Leigh Robinson’s squad-building continues apace with another addition to the Yellows’ 2024-25 squad, former Forest Green Rovers defender Jack Carter.
Jack, 19, comes to the Ian Moorcroft Stadium having been released by the Green Devils this summer after four seasons at the New Lawn.
During that time, he created a niche for himself in Rovers’ history when, on October 6, 2020, he was selected for the Rovers’ first team in their Papa John’s Trophy clash with West Bromwich Albion Under-21s, becoming the youngster player to represent FGR in an EFL competition. He was 15 years and 205 days old.
He played twice more for Rovers first team, both last season – against Shrewsbury, in the Trophy, and Portsmouth, in the Carabao Cup.
He has also had two loan spells at Pitching In Southern League Division One South Melksham Town, with a month’s loan last season following a six-month spell at Oakfield Road the previous campaign.
Welcome to the IMS, Jack.
Jack Carter is available for sponsorship for the 2024-25 season. If you would like to sponsor him, or for further details, please email chairman@tivertontownfc.co.uk
