Welcome Jamie Richards

Tiverton Town Football Club can confirm that they have agreed terms with defender Jamie Richards following his departure from Truro City.

Jamie joins us from Truro City making 255 appearances and scoring 19 goals since joining Truro in 2015 from Torquay United.

Jamie started his career at his hometown club Southend United, where he emerged through the ranks before going on to serve the likes of Plymouth Argyle, Weymouth and Northern Irish outfit, Linfield.

"Jamie is a leader and knows the league inside out", said Scott Rogers "it was a big decision for him to leave Truro as I know he loved his time there and had a great relationship with the supporters. Hopefully a change of scenery and a fresh start will excite him and he will be a huge player for us this season on and off the pitch. He will captain the side this season a job he has done so well in the past."
