THE new era of Under-18s football at Tivvy started on Sunday with a highly creditable 1-1 draw in a friendly at Ivybridge Town.

The Young Yellows enjoyed plenty of possession against opponents with a fair bit more experience than them.

However, they were not quite clinical enough in the final third.
