Thank you Alan Findlay and Martin Syvret !
Tiverton Town can today announce that Under 18’s manager, Alan Findlay has decided to step down from his role at the end of the 2024/25 season, coaching assistant Martin Syvret will join Alan in departing when the season closes.
Tiverton Town Under 18’s have enjoyed another successful season under Alans management, finishing most likely as runners up, with the potential for a play-off to decide who wins the title, in the U18’s North Devon Division Youth League. During some turbulent times for the first team at Tiverton, the U18’s provided great excitement and positivity to the club with their tremendous efforts on the pitch.

Matthew Conridge, Vice-Chairman of Tiverton Town FC said, "Myself and everyone at Tiverton Town were sorry to read of Alans decision to step away from his role at the club. I’d like to place on record my thanks for their hard work within the youth set up during their time with us, not only in rejuvenating the U18’s, but also in finding success along the way".
In a quote to the club’s media department, Alan said, "It’s been an absolute privilege to work with such a talented squad of players who have consistently played an exciting brand of football and committed themselves to Tivvy Town. My thanks to all involved and I wish the club all the best with its ambitious plans to create a successful and sustainable community football club".

Echoing Alan’s words, coaching assistant Martin Syvret has said, "I would just like to say what a delight it has been to be involved with this team, they are a fantastic group of young men and I wish them all the very best in the future".
The club will now take some time to find replacements for Alan and Martin. If you’d like to be considered for the vacant position of U18’s manager, please contact chairman@tivertontownfc.co.uk.
