Pushing All the Right Buttons

TIVVY'S players have worn the team's new away shirt only once this season - in a low key Devon St Lukes Challenge Cup game at Axminster - but it is already creating huge waves amongst fans of the club.

Supporters are eager to get their hands on a replica of the two-tone pastel and dark blue shirt, sponsored by Play Leisure Services, who provide a range of Arcade, Amusement and Vending Solutions to businesses across the South West.

The good news for them is that the club is taking pre-orders for the shirt up to and including the Tiverton v Sholing Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South game on Saturday, October 19. Fans can pre-order in the club shop - the Merch Store - or by emailing contact@tivertontownfc.co.uk.

Play Leisure Head Technician Chris Paice was down at Ladysmead recently to oversee a delivery of the shirts to the dressing-room.

"We are delighted to work with Tiverton Town Football Club and hope this is the start of a long relationship," he said, of his company's sponsorship deal, which covers this season and next.

A spokesperson for Tiverton said: "We are very happy to welcome Play Leisure to the football club, and look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship.

"It is always good to work with a new commercial partner, and we are sure that, together, and enjoying all the support that the community gives us, we can take the club forward."

Tivvy are at home to Dorchester on Saturday in the third qualifying round of the Isuzu FA Trophy, when the Merch Store will be open to take orders for the coveted new shirt.
