Obituary | Jon Durham 1965-2025

Everyone at Tiverton Town is saddened to learn the news of the passing of former Tiverton Town player, Jon Durham, aged 59.

Jon’s playing career began in the youth set up of Rotherham United and he would go on to represent The Millers 11 times in the 1983/84 season scoring once against local rivals Bradford Town in a 1-0 home victory.

Jon would then go on to sign for Torquay United, spending two seasons at the seaside club before dropping into the non league set up with Saltash United.

Tiverton Town were next up for Jon, signing for the club in 1989. Jon went on to score 41 goals for Tiverton across two seasons before joining Taunton Town.

The thoughts of everyone at Tiverton Town are with Jon’s friends and family at this difficult time.
