FORWARD Leighton Thomas has become Tiverton Town’s first new signing of the summer.
The 25-year-old, who has already enjoyed one loan spell at the Ian Moorcroft Stadium, joins Yellows after playing for fellow Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South side Dorchester Town and Division One South side Cribbs last season.
Thomas, a Cayman Islands international, first played for Tivvy in October 2022 after joining on loan from Hungerford Town. He made seven appearances, scoring twice before returning to Bulpit Lane.
Prior to that, he had netted a remarkable 31 goals in 36 appearances for Paulton Rovers in 2021-22 campaign and winning the Division One West Golden Boot award.
