TIVVY manager Leigh Robinson believes new signing Asa Hall can lead the Yellows to new areas, on and off the pitch.
Leigh is keen to utilise experienced midfielder Asa's knowhow primarily in the Town midfield when they embark on their 2024-25 Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South campaign.
The 37-year-old veteran of more than 600 competitive first-team games, tow promotions and two Wembley-winning finals also brings a knowledge of what can make a good club great.
Leigh said: "We’re thrilled to welcome Asa to Tiverton in a player-coach role. Whilst we did well to avoid relegation last season, I always felt there needed to be a culture shift on the footballing side and Asa will help hugely with this.
"His leadership and experience will be vital in terms of embedding the culture that we want at the club, as well as providing vital guidance to our younger players.
"To be clear, Asa has been signed as a player first and this is where we want his focus to be as he has masses to offer on the pitch, but we will also be phasing him into the coaching side of the club in the medium to long term."
