Joe Done Good

TIVVY manager Rob Dray has hailed the impact of young goalkeeper Joe Duncan after Bristol City agreed to extend the teenager's loan until the end of the season.

Joe, 18, was brought to the IMS by Rob following an injury to Zak Baker, another fine young 'keeper that Yellows had loaned from City's EFL Championship rivals Plymouth Argyle.

He has made four appearances since, impressing everyone with his considerable ability and Rob is delighted the Robins have allowed him to continue his footballing development with Tivvy.

He said: "Firstly, a massive thank you to Matty Hewlett and Brian Tinnion for allowing Joe to continue his exposure and education with us, a connection we will nurture over the coming months and years.

"Joe is, without doubt, a top, top talent and we are fortunate to be a part of what he will be. He has made a massive impact in a small space of time."

Joe will be between the posts at the IMS on Saturday, when he will be looking to keep out high-riding Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South AFC Totton's all-star forward line of Charlie Austin, Scott Rendell and Tony Lee.
