Jack Hits the Road

EVERYONE at Tiverton Town wishes all the best to Jack Rice, who has joined Northern League side Chorley.

The Yellows’ 2023-24 Player of the Season steps up to the Magpies after turning down what Town insiders say was “a very good offer” to remain at the Ian Moorcroft Stadium.

Vice-Chairman Matthew Conridge said: “We have always been a club that will not stand in the way of any player that wants to test himself at a higher level.

“We thank Jack for his time at Ladysmead and wish him every success in his future career with Chorley and beyond.”

Attacking midfielder Jack had two spells at Town: a five-substitute sojourn from Barnstaple in October 2018; and, following spells with Truro and Willand, last season, during which he scored 13 goals in 40 appearances.

Go well, Jack.
