TWO absolute legends of the EFL will be guests of the Yellows a week before the start of the new season.
Torquay United, managed by Paul Wotton and with director Neil Warnock as the club's Football Advisor, visit the Ian Moorcroft Stadium on Saturday, August 3 for a prestige pre-season friendly.
Warnock steered Plymouth Argyle to promotion from League 2 in 1996 during a managerial career that spanned a record-breaking 1,626 matches with 16 clubs - after amassing more than 300 matches as a player for 11 different teams.
Wotton played a magnificent 491 times for his hometown Argyle in a 21-year, four-club, career, that saw him twice captain the Pilgrims to promotion. He later became Argyle first-team coach under Derek Adams and has since managed Truro City.
The lips-macking fixture, which kicks off at 3pm, comes seven days before Leigh Robinson's men begin their Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South campaign.
