TIVERTON Town are inviting expressions of interest in becoming chair of the Pitching In Southern League Premier South club following Michael Dunford’s decision to step down from the role.
The Yellows’ would also like to hear from anyone who thinks they could assist the club as a member of the Executive Committee at the Ian Moorcroft Stadium.
Committee member Matthew Conridge, a former Chairman, is to take over the reins on an interim basis to ensure a smooth transition between outgoing and incoming chairs.
A spokesperson for the Committee said: “We are very grateful for the considerable time and effort that Michael has spent in the club’s cause. We wish him well in the future and he will always be a friend of Tiverton Town.
“Everyone at The club are now focused on the future and getting behind the new management team of Leigh Robinson and Ben Gerring, and especially their first match at the Ian Moorcroft Stadium against Harrow Borough on Saturday.”
