YELLOWS face the prospect of playing four games in eight days – including three in succession at home in a gruelling six-day period and four in a row at Ladysmead inside 10 days – as the Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South season comes to its conclusion.
The League has rearranged Tivvy’s thrice-postponed home match with Winchester City for Thursday, April 18, two days after another rescheduled game at the Ian Moorcroft Stadium, against Dorchester Town on Tuesday, April 16.
Those encounters are sandwiched between games at home to League champions Chesham United, on Saturday, April 13, and away at Harrow Borough, on Saturday, April 20.
Meanwhile, Josh Jones is to serve a two-match suspension after he was sent off in the recent 2-1 defeat at Dorchester. The central defender will miss the home games against Gosport Borough, on Tuesday, April 9, and Chesham, four days later.
