THE 2023-24 season was a challenging one for Tiverton Town, on and off the pitch.
Together - club officials, fans, management, players, staff and volunteers - Yellows stood up to that challenge, faced it down, and came through.
In the heat of adversity, foundations were laid that bode well for Tivvy's future: it is now time to build on those foundations.
The club has ambitions to grow. To begin that process, Yellows are looking to expand its Executive Committee, which has the ultimate say in how the club is run.
Three positions need to be filled - three roles that are key to Tivvy's development: Commercial Director, Hospitality Director and Community Director.
The roles are specific but being an Executive Committee Member means being involved in all aspects of the club, taking an active role in shaping the future of the Yellows, starting with attending regular board meetings alongside the Chairman, Secretary and other committee members.
Tiverton Vice-Chairman Matthew Conridge said: "This is a chance for experienced and talented people to join the group which runs the club and help us drive it to the next level.
“This club has more than 110 years of history and it’s time to write the next chapter by moving the club towards a more community-focused organization that is here to serve the whole of Tiverton."
The voluntary roles comprise:
Commercial Director
Responsible for the overview of Yellows' commercial relationships with their partners. The Commercial Director works closely with the Commercial Manager, developing links with local businesses, and creating new ideas for generating partnerships and revenue across the whole club.
Hospitality Director
Responsible for bars, functions and catering, working alongside the Bar Manager to develop opportunities within the club to increase revenue and search for external partners to work alongside.
Community Director
Managing relationships with Tiverton Town's additional teams such as the Under-18s side, the Under-16s sides and the Ability Counts sides, and the club's external relationships with other youth sides, local schools and more.
Anyone who would like to be considered for one of the roles, or for an informal discussion, should contact Matthew Conridge via chairman@tivertontownfc.co.uk or on 07967 315321.
