YELLOWS will be putting plenty of miles on the clock in December with two tough long-distance Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South midweek trips re-arranged for the last month of the year.
They will travel to Buckinghamshire on Tuesday, December 5 to face Chesham, who are currently third in the division, having lost only once all campaign, and who boast the best points-per-game stat of all 22 teams.
After that eight-hour 360-mile round trip and a home Saturday game against Bracknell Town, they will hit the road again to journey to Hampshire and mid-table Winchester, on Tuesday, December 12.
Winchester have won just once this season at their City Ground and are an only slightly less eye-watering 125 miles away and six hours travelling time there and back.
