TIVVY manager Leigh Robinson will discover plenty about the strength in depth of the squad that he has assembled as Yellows cram three first-team games into the space of eight days.
Having kick-started their Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South season with successive victories at Frome and against Winchester at home, Town will be looking to make it three in a row when Gloucester City visit the Ian Moorcroft Stadium on Saturday.
First, though, this Tuesday, Yellows take a trip to South West Peninsula League Premier Division East Axminster Town in the first round of the Devon St Lukes Challenge Cup.

With one eye on the weekend and another on the longer term future of the Yellows, Leigh will be standing down some of his regular first-teamers and giving some game-time to those who will benefit most from it.
He said: “We will be taking a mixed team to Axminster. Several of our Under-18s will be in the squad and priority will be getting minutes into the first-team players who haven’t played much recently.
“Joe Parker, Dylan Jones, Asa Hall, Mike Baker and Kai Churchley won’t be involved at all. Former Under-18 player Sam Gleeson will play as he is currently doing well on loan at Wellington.”
Tuesday’s match at Tiger Way kicks off at 7.45pm.
