JAMIE Richards has called time on his Tiverton Town career.
The 29-year-old defensive lynchpin and captain for the past two seasons leaves the Ian Moorcroft Stadium after 76 appearances since joining the Yellows in the summer of 2022, He also weighed in with nine goals during that time.
Manager Leigh Robinson said: "‘Jamie has decided to move on and we wish him all the best.
"We offered him different terms for this season, which he chose not to accept.
"We also made it clear that we wanted to change the captaincy this year as a freshen-up after two years and to align with numerous other changes around the club.
"He leaves with our best wishes."
Former Plymouth Argyle professional Jamie came to Ladysmead after six seasons with Truro City, who he also captained, which followed his release by the Pilgrims. While at Home Park, Jamie was loaned to Northern Irish Premiership Linfield, representing them in the 2014–15 UEFA Europa League.
All the best, Skip, and thanks for the memories.
Sorry to see him go, best wishes Jamie
