Calum is Back

TIVERTON Town have boosted their back line – and their quota of Thomases – with the signing of young defender Calum Thomas.

The 19-year-old returns to the Ian Moorcroft Stadium – joining fellow new signing Leighton Thomas – following his release by Torquay United, from whom he spent a six-game loan spell with the Yellows last season.

Centre-back Calum arrived at Ladysmead in March this year and contributed significantly to Town’s Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South survival, featuring in successive wins in his first three starts, which included two clean sheets.

Calum came through the Gulls’ Academy and captained the United youth team and turned professional before last season.

As well as representing Tiverton last season, he also played six times in Torquay’s National League South campaign, including the final game of the campaign, the 5-0 thrashing of Havant & Waterlooville at Plainmoor.

Welcome back to the IMS, Calum.

Calum Thomas is available for sponsorship for the 2024-25 season. If you would like to sponsor him, or for further details, please email chairman@tivertontownfc.co.uk
