A reminder that Saturday's home game against Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South champions Chesham United has been designated our Donation Day for the Churches Housing Action Team Foodbank.
We are encouraging supporters to come to the match with donations for CHAT, the Mid-Devon charity that has been working since 1995 to tackle homelessness and evictions.
Last year, they distributed nearly 4,000 food parcels.
We have staged a Donation Day for CHAT three times over the past few years, usually around Christmas time, and they have been incredibly successful.
Fans, players and management have all become involved and been very generous.
It has been so heartwarming to see the kindness from everyone who has donation in the past. In fact, it has been overwhelming.
We are hoping that this season’s Donation Day will see another fantastic response by everyone at Tiverton Town.
