TIVVY’S Under-18s emulated their senior counterparts this weekend by securing a hard-earned 2-1 league win.

The Young Yellows overcame Culm Sampford United, with Dawson Payne scoring a second-half winner in the derby contest.

The free-scoring Cody Stansfield had given them the lead at Sampford Peverell Cricket Ground before the home side levelled just before the break.

The whole team worked hard and defended well against opponents who, as Honiton Under-18s, won every match that they played last season.

Tyler Kelly was man of the match for his constant running and energy across the pitch.
